July 3 Status:
The field season is underway.
This is the 7th year of the Haughton-Mars Project (HMP) a multidisciplinary investigation to study the Haughton crater on Devon Island, Nunavut Territory, in the Canadian arctic.

HMP Base Camp 2000

This picture was taken Saturday, June 24th as the first field team members were trying to land. Unfortunately the snow melt is late and they could not land. The first field team members were able to get to base camp on Friday, June 30th.
