    Sarah Huffman

    Function: IT and Logistical Support

    Affiliation: NASA Ames Research Center

    Sarah Huffman will spend her second summer at HMP providing IT and other support for NASA projects. Huffman came to NASA's Ames Research Center in 2004 to work on the Remote Operations team of the Mars Analog Research and Technology Experiment (MARTE) in the Rio Tinto area of Spain, supporting field operations as well as the Science Data Browser for remote science teams. She then moved on to work on the Drilling Automation for Mars Exploration (DAME) project, providing logistical and field support for their tests at HMP and elsewhere. Currently she is continuing work on DAME as well as providing support to other groups and projects.

    Sarah came to NASA after working as a System Administrator and Support Analyst for Greenpeace International, Tripwire and Arizona Internet. She also spent time working both in the field and on the ships for Greenpeace. Sarah loves travel to new and exciting places. Her down time is spent with her family in the San Francisco Bay Area, knitting, hiking and reading.
