    Denis Lacelle

    Denis Lacelle was born in Hawkesbury, ON, and earned a PhD degree in Earth Sciences, specializing in low temperature stable isotope geochemisry and cryogenic processes, at the University of Ottawa. Denis also holds a Bachelor and Master degrees in Physical Geography, specializing in periglacial processes. He recently joined the Planetary Exploration and Space Astronomy program at the Canadian Space Agency as a Visiting Fellow where he is involved in the field of astrobiology and instrument development. Denis uses geochemical and isotopic methods to identify physico-chemical and biological processes in secondary minerals and ground ice. During the last eight years, Denis has been involved in numerous field research projects in the Canadian Arctic.
