    Mark Allan joined NASA Ames in 1997. Mark's interests include visual simulation, data visualization, systems architecture, and human/computer interaction. Since joining the Intelligent Robotics Group in 2006, Mark has been developing 3D components for the Ensemble framework to visualize remote robotics operations.

    During the Haughton Crater Human/Robot Site Survey field test, Mark will be running "Hab Ops", an analogue for lunar surface habitat operations that will be located in the Haughton-Mars Project base camp. Mark has a Bachelors in Biological Sciences from University of California, Santa Barbara and is currently an MSIS student at Santa Clara University.
