This afternoon, a United States Marine Corps C-130 Hercules aircraft flew over the "Fortress", a
landmark rock formation near the NASA Haughton-Mars Project Base Camp at Haugthon Crater on Devon
Island, Nunavut, Arctic Canada, in preparation for tomorrow's paradropping of field supplies. This
is the third year that the USMC is collaborating with the NASA HMP in support of the project's Mars
exploration research efforts.
