10 KM Walkback Experiment to the HMP Research Station over Lunar Analog Terrain Picture of the Day for Friday, August 3, 2007 Dr Marcelo Vazquez of the National Space Biomedical Research Institute on a 10 km walkback to the HMP Research Station over lunar analog terrain on Devon Island. The walkback is part of a NASA Johnson Space Center-led experiment at HMP designed to understand the physiologic demands and monitoring needs of future human exploration activities on the Moon and Mars.
