HMP Research Station Field Update July 22, 2005
Today was another very productive day with wonderful weather. We can only hope that this great weather holds out for some time. Our research activities today included another telemedicine session by the Canadian Space Agency team, this time simulating an injury and interfacing with Sunnybrook and Women's College Health Sciences Centre (SWCHSC) in Toronto. The DAME Mars drilling team continued their efforts at Trinity Lake with good results to date. A new weather station is being installed south of Trinity Lake to collect data throughout the year. Also today the MIT team tagged an ATV with advanced radio frequency identification (RFID) so that they could conduct an ATV tracking scenario. This is just one of the experiments they are conducting as part of their research project, Modeling and Researching the Logistics of the Haughton-Mars Project Research Station. An overview report is presented today. And lastly today the next in a series of photo reports is now available. |
