Field Update July 29, 2004 - Greenhouse Webcams, Drilling, Concept Spacesuit and More! As last reported there are many research activities ongoing. For more details on daily events please read Elaine Walker's journal entries listed below. While most of the research here at Haughton Crater on Devon Island takes place during the short Arctic summer period one activity will continue after we've left. The Arthur Clarke Mars Greenhouse will continue to collect data and send it by satellite to researchers at their home institution. This includes a variety of environmental control data and images. Below are a couple of the images being sent back by two of the three greenhouse webcams. |
